The chocolate terrier enchants with a warm brown coat in shades of chocolate. It is a special and rare colour variety, known for its gentle look and an equally gentle nature. In Slovenia chocolate terriers are a true rarity.
Temperament
The chocolate terrier is playful, curious and very affectionate. It loves to be cuddled and seeks the closeness of its people, while losing none of the terrier liveliness and joy in life. It is sociable and fond of play, and brings a great deal of warmth and good cheer into a home.
Appearance and coat
Its distinguishing feature is the warm chocolate-brown coat, which is long, silky and glossy. As with every terrier, the coat needs regular care and brushing. It is small in size, with a pleasing, elegant appearance that turns heads.
Health and breeding
Our chocolate terriers come from a carefully preserved pure line, bred under the Slovenian Kennel Club (KZS). We keep the chocolate line pure and separate from the black one, so that the qualities of the colour carry forward cleanly. We look for stud dogs abroad, and we always look first at the health and the stable, friendly temperament of the parents.
